Breaking changes

Section titled “Breaking changes”
  • Updated StudioCMS to be compatible with Astro v7. This includes updates to the dashboard and other internal components to ensure compatibility with the latest version of Astro.
    • Drops support for Astro v5-v6. If you are currently using Astro v5 or v6, please update to Astro v7 before upgrading to StudioCMS v0.5.0.
  • Removed kysely-turso package dependency. StudioCMS’s DB layer now includes an in-house kysely adapter for Turso, which is now included as part of the @withstudiocms/kysely package.

  • Code component script encapsulation
  • Various minor dependency updates and improvements
  • Fixed dashboard CSS to conform with Astro v7 changes and prevent CSS leaks and other issues.
  • Fixed windows unicode escape errors
  • Replaced previous config loader, with a Vite-based loader with native ESM support.
  • Removed astro-integration-kit package dependency.
  • Removed legacy and unused code.
